The pre-war 1910s were a simpler, more innocent time. Having shaken off the dust of the Industrial Revolution, the formality of the period led to pristine fashion and a spectrum of bright colors in the fashion mix. Everything was precious and nostalgic.

Football in the 1910s is not what we know today. This was a time of thin, leather padding, full contact tackles, and brutal outdoor conditions in the winter.
